Full Report

The report is a compilation of business case studies on best solutions to address land use based emissions. Through the case studies, the WBCSD endeavors to demonstrate that business is developing innovative technologies, solutions, methods and tools in different areas of agriculture and forestry to address climate change effects through mitigation (including sequestration) and adaptation.

Examples of cases in the report focus on: Technology and Innovation, practices and approaches and tools and measurements; that businesses are developing for agricultural sustainability.

The various cases demonstrate that there is no single, globally applicable sustainable management solution for land use. Business is only part of the solution and must work with governments, civil society and others to develop a range of land-use approaches that tackle climate change.
