The project aims to build infrastructure that can quickly communicate reliable emergency information about natural disasters such as earthquakes, tsunamis, and cyclones.
Objectives include:
- To communicate reliable information quickly during emergencies/disasters.
- For the infrastructure to transmit information on a national scale, fixing the medium-wave broadcasting power problem
- AM and FM broadcasters to improve country situation by supplying information to pertinent aid agencies
- Increased preparedness through the construction and installation of equipment such as antenna systems, cameras, and shortwave transmitting station equipment
- Cooperation with the National Disaster Management Office in supplying additional infrastructure/equipment
- To conduct a preliminary regional survey to determine needs, and to assess the current AM emergency broadcasting system
