Summary:

The objective is to improve self-reliance through the delivery of renewable energy and affordable related services using wind technology. The project will promote environmental awareness of the population, and give the people of Futuna and Aneityum Islands control over their energy distribution, operation and maintenance. The project will help communities to seize new income-generating opportunities, which energy provision will make available on the two islands. The target groups are the two islands’ communities, as well as key public institutions; schools, health centers, central business district, banks, meteorological office, forestry office, etc.
