China Youth Climate Action Network（CYCAN）was established in August of 2007 by 7 separate environmental youth organizations bringing together their resources to combat climate change. It is the first organization in China that promotes youth participation in climate change mitigation.

CYCAN’s Vision: CYCAN hopes that through the cooperation and action of Chinese youth, we can slow down climate change. We believe that through hard work and awareness-raising, we can influence both governmental agencies and the public to come together in an effort to combat climate change.
CYCAN’s Goals: We are calling for China’s youth to establish a new paradigm for climate response, to promote climate change projects based on scientific principles, the establishment of resource-saving “Green Campuses”, and to support energy saving and waste reduction nationally.
