In 2008, ASOCAM promoted the formation of a Regional Center for shared learning on Water and Climate Change, in order to make an inventory of measures on water use and management that help reduce the vulnerability of Andean populations and given the change climate variability. Under the work of the Core, nine were systematized experiences and knowledge generated have served as a starting point for the organization of Latin American Seminar on Water ASOCAM and Climate Change, 2009.
