The conference expects to bring together practitioners from over 200 non-governmental organizations, government officials, and representatives from business and scientists. Full Details This expert meeting of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) will further explore issues related to human settlements and infrastructure as an input to the AR5 process.
More details The meeting will review progress on the current STAP work plan, identify new areas for work plan inclusion, and prepare for the May 2011 GEF Council meeting. With respect to current focal areas, it is likely the meeting will have a strong emphasis on climate change as well as adaptation and climate resilience.
