    Summary:

    The Argentine Red Cross is working
    to reduce the vulnerability of people faced
    with the effects of climate change, in
    communities where poverty has been
    gaining ground.
    To achieve this objective it is necessary to
    unite the efforts of various sectors of the
    national community linked to this problem,
    especially the academic sector, the State
    agencies (Ministries of Health and
    Environment, Social Development, Civil
    Protection, Meteorological Service etc.), the
    entrepreneurial sector and other
    organisations of civil society.
