Climate change awareness raising: a film documentary on climate change impacts and adaptation

    A CC DARE scoping mission was undertaken from April 21st – 25th 2008. A two day stakeholder consultation was held with a broad representation of climate adaptation actors. Following the scoping mission, a total of seven proposals were received from a range of governmental and non-governmental organisations. Proposals were based on issues including afforestation schemes to reduce land degradation; research into crop diversification; educational programmes for schools; and an investigation into the merits and drawbacks of payments for environmental services (PES).
