Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre

Description:

The Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre coordinates the Caribbean region’s response to climate change. Officially opened in August 2005, the Centre is the key node for information on climate change issues and on the region’s response to managing and adapting to climate change in the Caribbean.

It is the official repository and clearing house for regional climate change data, providing climate change-related policy advice and guidelines to the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Member States through the CARICOM Secretariat.

The Land Water Dialogue

The Danish Government has initiated a Dialogue on Land and Water Management for Adaptation to Climate Change. The main objective of the Dialogue is to increase resilience towards climate change in developing countries. Description:

GenderCC – women for climate justice is a global network of women and gender activists and experts from all world regions working for gender and climate justice.

Since 2008, the network has been formally registered as the not-for-profit NGO "GenderCC – women for climate justice". GenderCC is based on the work of its regional Focal Points in Asia, Africa, the Pacific, Latin America, North America and for the Women and Gender Constituency and collaborates with existing women and gender networks in related areas.

Climate Action Network

Description:

The Climate Action Network (CAN) is a worldwide network of roughly 500 Non- Governmental Organizations (NGOs) working to promote government and individual action to limit human-induced climate change to ecologically sustainable levels.

CAN members work to achieve this goal through information exchange and the coordinated development of NGO strategy on international, regional, and national climate issues.
